This is the first meeting at the University (mandatory, before going to the Faculty), during which we will share everything students need to know about the University and the City of Porto.
Official Welcome, by the Rector of the University of Porto, exclusively for mobility students/researchers, with Portuguese food, music and entertainment.

In partnership with Porto City Hall, U.Porto offers Weekly free guided visits to historical places and buildings of the city.

In partnership with Porto City Hall, U.Porto students are invited to talk about their home country, its culture and language to high school students.
November
A traditional celebration on St. Martin’s Day, to promote a friendly gathering between incoming and outgoing mobility students.
All year long
Dance workshops organized by NEFUP (Núcleo de Etnografia e Folclore da Universidade do Porto).
December
Traditional Christmas Get Together with a gastronomic contest “Christmas Flavours”, in which students can participate by bringing a traditional Christmas dish of their home country/region.
Group of voluntary Portuguese students (ESN-Porto), that helps students in their integration in the U.Porto and city.
