The Vice-Chancellor for Coordination and Internationalization cordially invites you to participate in the Erasmus Staff Week that will take place at the University of Murcia from 15th to 19th of May 2017.

We have prepared a program for the following target groups:

  • Staff involved in the International Offices (management and promotion of internationalization), up to 15 people
  • Staff working in the University Libraries, up to 5 people
  • Staff working in IT Services , up to 5 people
  • Staff working in Student Admission and Recruitment/ Communication
  • Services, up to 5 people

Information regarding the Erasmus Staff Week and programs will be updated here.

The registration deadline is March 6th and we kindly request you to complete the online form.

On the third week of March 2017 we will inform you of the participants selected.

Dear colleagues,

greetings from Prague and all the best in 2017.

We are very happy to invite you and your colleagues to our 7th annual Prague International Week - staff training for our partners that will take place June 12th-16th 2017 at the University of Economics, Prague, Czech Republic.

This training is aimed mainly at our colleagues from International Offices - its main focus will be different aspects of internationalization, especially student exchanges (preliminary programme). Please, feel free to forward this invitation to all your eligible colleagues.

The capacity is 20 participants, you can register by submitting the online google application form.

The registration deadline is Februray  28th, 2017. Detailed information will be provided to selected participants (we can offer reasonably priced dormitory hotel rooms or help with hotel reservations).  Registration fee will be 90EUR (including public transportation pass, welcome package, coffee breaks, lunches and farewell dinner). Please, let us know if you have any questions or if there is anything we can do to assist you.

HFU-Summer School programme 2017: “White Water Management – Learning Management in a new way” (Germany)

This summer school teaches relevant management principles in an action-orientated outdoor & white water kayaking environment of the canton Ticino in Switzerland from the 20th of July 2017 until the 27th of July 2017.

The course provides 6 ECTS. It is designed not only for students of Bachelor, Master and Ph.D. level with a focus on Business Management, but also for other related studies, which provide management input.

Greetings from Sweden and Linnaeus University!

During  June 12th–16th, 2017 we are hosting our 5th Linnaeus University International Staff Training Week in the cities of Kalmar and Växjö, Sweden.

We welcome participation from both faculty and staff. The focus of the week is Intercultural Communication (ICC) and the Global Classroom, with an opportunity to learn about and discuss key concepts related to intercultural communication, cultural intelligence and teaching and serving students in a digital era.

The week will provide opportunities to meet with faculty and staff from Linnaeus University, to network with colleagues from our partner institutions, as well as exploring our campuses in Kalmar and Växjö with region.

International Conference "Economic Development in Southern European Regions: Policies and Higher Education" (Porto, Portugal)

Summer School “Wine, Terroir, Tourism” (Switzerland)

It is a 5-day program that introduces participants to the culture of wine and winemaking and explores the different synergies that exist with the field of tourism. Based at the University of Lausanne’s Sion campus, in the heart of the Valais winemaking region, it will use local case studies to illustrate the wider global issue of linking the winemaking and tourism industries.

When? 10-15 July 2017

For Whom? International students at MA and PhD level in the social sciences and humanities, or equivalent.

How much?   From CHF 900.00, accommodation included, with a possibility to upgrade the room with an extra fee. CHF 690.00 without accommodation.
