Purpose and limits
This self-assessment is intended only as a preliminary indication of selected aspects of mental health and well-being, and is provided for informational purposes. It does not constitute a psychological or medical diagnosis and should not be considered a substitute for consulting a qualified professional.

Duration
Completing the questionnaire should take no more than 7–10 minutes.

Interpretation of results
The questionnaire reflects the individual’s self-assessment at a specific point in time and may be influenced by their emotional state and personal circumstances. High scores do not necessarily indicate a mental health disorder, and low scores do not guarantee its absence.

Professional assessment
This tool should not be used independently to diagnose mental health disorders, prescribe treatment, or make decisions about care. An accurate assessment of mental health requires a more detailed individual evaluation by a qualified mental health professional, such as a psychologist, psychiatrist or other qualified specialist.

Emergency situations
If you experience severe emotional distress, thoughts of self-harm, or if there is a threat to your safety or the safety of others, you should seek immediate help from mental health professionals or emergency services.

Ethical approval
This self-assessment tool was approved by the Ethics Committee of Transilvania University of Brașov (UNITBV), No. 5698/15.05.2026.
